It is a brief explanation about a relativistic space propulsion system which uses a lattice/matrix of Phase Displacement Space Drives, producing crisscrossing pattern of Phased Standing Waves, to generate a sequence of spinning waves for causing a FTL moving force, in order to warp spacetime, enabling fast interstellar travel in an energy-efficient way.

This video is the realization of a vision that obsessed me for some time. In this vision I saw an endless landscape of ephemeral shifting forms and colors. I proceed through the forms like I was behind a window, looking through it and contemplating the changing landscape. Maybe this window is the window of a space ship that travels through a primordial nebula, a star cradle. I think that the video is suited enough for an ambient video projection to be used in some kind of installation. In fact,...

The real star here is the late aerial photographer James Freeman, whose breathtaking helicopter shots of Mayan and Aztec ruins at sunrise and sunset won an Academy Award for this film in 1971. Although the English version was narrated by Orson Welles, the Spanish version, narrated by Ricardo Montalban, is in better keeping with the ethnic aspect of the film, and no knowledge of Spanish is needed to appreciate his dramatic impact. Don't be put off by the heroic musical score: this film is...

Along with Larry Yust's 'Lottery', 'Clown' was possibly one of the two best selling ed films ever made. On the surface, it's a cute kid & dog story. Underlying is a possible subtext that fascinates us every time we view the film, and makes for a satisfying, yet ultimately ambiguous ending. Gilou Pelletier is outstanding as the small boy, and the camera work by Guy Suzuki takes wonderful advantage of the terraces of Montmartre.

Hard-boiled eggs turn against black background. In "Trademark eggs" many eggs rotate continuously, as if by magic. The effect is achieved by a simple trick: The eggs were turned and shaken on a black plate. From IMDb: When Dr. Frankenstein is killed by a monster he created, his daughter and his lab assistant Marshall continue his experiments. The two fall in love and attempt to transplant Marshall's brain in to the muscular body of a retarded servant Stephen, in order to prolong the aging Marshall's life. Meanwhile, the first monster seeks revenge on the grave robbers who sold the body parts used in its creation to Dr. Frankenstein. Soon it comes after Marshall and the doctor's daughter.

Speed run of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time as Donatello done on October 18 2005. Available in three versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60 fps high quality. The time listed is real time from start to finish, the game's timer is rather inaccurate. Author's comments: First, thanks to Nate for capturing this. Also thanks to the TASers for helping give me a few hints on how to beat foot soldiers easier (and which ones I can ignore) to make for faster levels. TMNT IV:...

Speed run of Super Mario Bros. 2, All-Stars version, done on May 2 2005. Available in three versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60 fps high quality. Author's comments: First of, I would like to thank Radix for hosting this. This run is for Super Mario Brothers 2, the North American version, an updated version included in the Super Mario All-Stars game (along with the original, harder Mario 2). There are several differences between this version and the NES version, the most notable of...

Speed run of Battletoads & Double Dragon as a Lee brother, done on July 19 2007. Available in five versions: low/normal quality DivX, and normal/high/low quality H.264 MPEG-4. Author's comments: Haaa... the good old battletoads and double dragons on the snes. As soon as I heard my friend had the game I just had to borrow it. I had no plan to speedrun it at first but I figured it was time to move on into console speedruns once and for all so I grabbed a dvd recorder on ebay and started...

UPDATE: november 2009 I made an new longplay from Super Ghouls'n'Ghosts. This longplay is a bit faster then the old one. The video/soundquality is much better then the old one too. Walkthrough from the SNES game "Super Ghouls`n`Ghosts" The original game loops two times before you reach the final boss stage. For this reason this longplay starts direct in the second loop `cause I think it could be very boring to see two times the same game in a video. I played the game in 20 minutes....

Functions of the human body explained with special emphasis on the senses of sight and hearing and the individual's responsibility to care for the house lived in. This film was part of Wonder series, made by the Moody Institute of Science, shares some similiarities with the Mr. Wizard television series - kids come by and visit the neighborhood scientist who is happy to demonstrate some science experiments. The difference, of course, is the obligatory Moody tip of the hat to the Supreme Being....

Speed run of Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers done on May 31 2006. Available in six versions: normal/low quality DivX, and normal/high/insane/low quality H.264 MPEG-4. Author's comments: This run was done as a test before starting my Mega man X 100 % run when I got the DVD recorder from Nate. Probably the easiest run I will ever do. Even easier then Duck tales... I have spend 5 - 25 hours on this game the last 5 years or so... It was just annoying that there is no Rescue rangers run. Just a...
